Current Projects

SMART Labs is a new startup which aims is to blend cutting edge research in Computer Science with other disciplines, also known as “CS + X”. Currently we are working on a new approach in Machine Learning called Demonstrated Iterated Task Optimization to remove bias from AI.

Cultural Immersion Program of Pakistan (CIPOP), aims to expose first and second year students to culturally and socially significant research across multiple fields and disciplines. It also gives students a chance to learn about social entrepreneurship and further refine their business ideas. 

In Social Innovation Talks (SIT) we invite people to talk on wide-ranging topics. Most of the topics are chosen directly by students, others by speakers.

NUST Social Innovation Society (NSIS) aims to engage students of NUST to develop and deploy effective solutions to challenging and often systemic social issues in support of social progress.

NUST Social Entrepreneurship Bootcamp (SEB) aims to test the theory of serendipitous creativity by mixing different degree programs to work on social innovation.

SURE Program started in University of Houston with the purpose of helping local entrepreneurs and businesses. We aim to start the program at NUST and it is currently under review.
